Commonly Asked Questions

How long is Blueberry season?

Our season runs from Mid March until the end of May

What do I need to bring when visiting your farm?

We are a working farm, and although the barn in the filed provides beautiful shade.... the field itself is not covered. please be prepared to be in the Florida heat! Water, sunscreen, closed toed shoes, a hat etc....

We provide buckets for you to pick in, and a plastic bag for you to take your berries home. There is no need to bring your own buckets.

if you are wanting to pick sunflowers, you will need to bring your own scissors.

How much do you charge for U-Pick Blueberries?

We charge $6.50 per pound

Do you charge an entry fee?

We are so blessed to be able to open our farm, and do not charge an entry fee or parking. You only pay for the berries that you pick!

Do you allow pets?

There are no pets aloud under any circumstances. We follow the strict guidelines put in place by the FDA.

Are our field suitable for strollers or wheelchair accessible?

Our fields, when dry, are easy to navigate with either a stroller or wheelchair. The blueberry plants themselves are potted in buckets, and the field is well maintained.

This is however a working farm. We are not able to control Mother Nature, and when we have an excess amount of rain, the rows do get wet. Please feel free to call before your visit to see the status of the field.

Is your farm certified organic?

Although we are not a certified organic farm, we practice sustainable farming. At the time of harvest, there are no harmful chemicals or residue on our blueberries. We follow all USDA guidelines for withdraw times.

Why do you weigh the berries picked still in the bucket?

We weigh the berries in the bucket, because it is the easiest and most efficient way to calculate the weight picked. The scales are tared out for the bucket weight, so you are not paying for the bucket weight itself. After many blueberry catastrophes while checking our customers out, we found this is the safest way to get to get every single berry you worked so hard to pick home with you!
